From Art Basel showcases to Miami Music Week and beyond, MAPS Backlot sets the stage for the city’s most iconic events. Our versatile venue and creative atmosphere provide the perfect canvas for unforgettable experiences.
A standard MAPS Backlot rental includes exclusive access to the venue for the agreed-upon time, use of our indoor green room, two built-in bars, three restrooms, and on-site power. You’ll also have access to our signature white cement cyc wall and open-air event space. Additional equipment, staffing, and rentals can be arranged through our preferred vendors or your own team.
Yes! While we offer a curated list of trusted partners through our MAPS Black Book, you’re welcome to bring in your own licensed vendors. All outside vendors must be approved in advance and provide a Certificate of Insurance.
Absolutely — MAPS Backlot is a favorite location for photo shoots, commercials, films, and editorial projects. We’re fully permitted and production-ready, with drive-in access, a white cyc wall, and flexible space for staging, equipment, and talent.
As an open-air venue, MAPS Backlot is subject to weather conditions. We recommend having a rain plan in place for outdoor events. We’re happy to work with you and your vendors to develop a weather contingency strategy that fits your needs.
